We created an identity for this annual conference and carried its theme across social media posts, posters, brochures, and a large format display for the event schedule to be posted onsite during the event. The event committee coined the theme 'cultivating design' as a double entendre to emphasize its continuing education credo while having a little fun with the recent legalization of recreational marijuana—which spurred a boom in new construction. We contacted an architect who provided a cultivation facility floor plan which we generalized and subtly incorporated into the background.
